Manager, Contracting & Supplier Management

Join a highly motivated team of procurement professionals, responsible for redesigning the Corporate Procurement organization. This is a newly created leadership position, reporting directly to the Director, Contracting and Supplier Management. This position is responsible for the transformation of contracting, contract management and supplier management as it relates to how the company acquires key categories of goods and services. They are responsible for establishing policies, strategy and implementation within their category assignment.
REQUIREMENTS
Lead a team of contract professionals through the effective delivery of contract development and negotiation in an assigned spend category. This includes recommending direction for contracting for these goods and services
Experience implementing and using Contract management tools, contract repositories, SRM and other supply chain technologies preferred, including knowledge of eRFx, reverse auctions, project management tools. Also experience required in procurement ERP modules. Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
3+ years of demonstrated, progressive experience in managing personnel, either through leadership of teams, projects and programs or preferably through managing a team of direct reports/FTEs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation and management skills; team player who thrives on open information sharing; ability to recognize strategic direction and effectively champion initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA and CPM are preferred.
NCMA certification ideal.
