Manager - Clinical Informatics, Facility Based

Incumbent will at a minimum:
Work collaboratively with the facility CNO, CMO and their appointed representatives and users of clinical information systems.
Acts as the key point of contact between clinical leaders and Information Systems Clinical Initiatives in development, implementation and production environments.
Provides leadership to clinical departments to identify, develop, implement and maintain efficient and effective clinical information systems.
Will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to move the facility toward a fully integrated computerized patient record.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires a minimum of a BSN with current Indiana State licensure (or the ability to obtain a current license); MSN preferred.
Requires bedside nursing experience that is typically acquired through three to five years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in an academic or teaching environment.
Requires advanced degree in healthcare informatics/information science, or equivalent training and work experience in healthcare informatics.
Requires experience that is typically acquired through three to five years of working in a clinical information systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement methodologies, implementing change, risk assessments, and gap analysis.
Requires a proven and effective track record of interacting at the senior executive level.
Previous management and/or performance improvement experience is preferred.
Requires Cerner Millennium or equivalent clinical vendor product experience.
Requires strong computer skills.
Requires a demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, interpersonal and project management skills.
