Manager 2 - Facilities / Engineering

Unit Description: Assumption College is a private, liberal arts College located in the residential section of Worcester Massachusetts and is just under 1 million square feet in size. Supervises 11 FTEs, both skill and technical trades providing facilities and engineering services at the College. Responsible for work force planning, Q/A training and development of hourly staff, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. Reports to the General Manager.Position Summary:
Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to client. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. Typically reports to GM or Ops Manager.Basic Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GEDBasic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
1 year of lead/supervisory/management experienceBasic Functional Experience Required:
1 year work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
