Maintenance Worker in Bethpage
Responsible for performing basic building repair, upkeep, and ground maintenance for the Bethpage Day Services Center and Lindner Center offices. All work should be performed in a manner that ensures that the buildings are a safe and healthy environment for staff, consumers, and visitors. Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Saturday 8 am - 1 pm.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for position
HS Diploma or equivalent
Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, heating and air conditioning.
The ability to remove snow via shovel or other equipment as required.
The ability to work at various heights while using extension ladders to access roofs, lighting and other various items that require ladders.
The ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
The ability to independently complete job functions with minimal to moderate supervision.
