Maintenance Technician - Wilmington DE

We have opportunities for experienced Maintenance Technicians with our Wilmington DE group. These positions are for a multiple site operation and use of personal transportation may be required.

Primary responsibilities:
Maintenance and repair of:
(1) HVAC equipment, heat pumps, VAV boxes and rooftop package units.
(2) plumbing, which may include water closets, faucets, and water heaters.
(3) electrical equipment, which may include light switches, receptacles, ballasts.
(4) architectural hardware.
Housekeeping related to mechanical equipment and areas.
Respond to work orders initiated by tenants and property managers.
Documentation of work done to equipment and monitoring of preventative maintenance and outside contractors.
On call for emergencies and problems after hours and on weekends. REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED required. Vocational training desirable.
HVAC experience and certification(s) preferred, with experience emphasis on commercial-office facilities equipment.
Superior ability to interact and communicate with professional courtesy and tact among tenants, contractors and individuals at all levels of our organization.
Experience working with hand and power tools as well as knowledge of electrical and plumbing.Ability to:
(1) climb ladders and lift up to 75 lbs.
(2) operate wireless pager (training provided) and cell phone used to respond to work orders.
(3) apply attention to detail in all work performed.
(4) work independently and at times work in a team environment.
(5) read equipment operation instructions and schematics.
Must have valid driver’s license, current insurance, good driving record and reliable vehicle.
