Job Description:
The Maintenance Services Staff is an integral part of our Facilities Services team, a pivotal force in providing general assistance to employees of the firm and guests with their facilities and maintenance needs. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the maintenance and repair of all firm-owned assets within designated facilities, including the inventory and storage of excess furnishings. This professional must also provide assistance and backup for the Hospitality and Hoteling Services team, including conference room setup.Responsibilities
Ensure effective and responsive service delivery.Conduct routine maintenance on office equipment and furnishings (e.g., furniture reconfiguration, carpentry, hardware, plumbing, light bulb replacements, paint touch-ups, etc.).Inspect facilities and equipment. Identify items needing repair and maintain the repair log.Move boxes, furniture and equipment as necessary (e.g., employee moves), including delivering files to hoteling spaces.Take furniture inventory; accept the delivery of furniture and equipment.Coordinate outside vendors and inspect work quality.Assist the Hospitality and Hoteling Services team.Ernst & Young LLP, an equal opportunity employer, values the diversity of our work force and the knowledge of our people.

Qualifications: The incumbent of this position must have:Education:
a high school diploma or equivalent work experience
Experience:
1-3 years of related work experience
Skills: basic knowledge of tools, maintenance work and repairs a strong work ethic and the ability to effectively work independently good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interface and team with personnel at all levels dependability, strong organizational skills, business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed demonstrated ability to handle administrative details and day-to-day issues independently, assuming responsibility without direct supervision This position is part of our 9:00 am - 6:00 pm team.
This professional must be available for overtime, as needed, and have an excellent prior attendance and punctuality record. Occasional after-hours and weekend work are a requirement.
