Maintenance Mechanic I

Entry-level position available at our Torrance location.
Reports To: Mechanic II and Area Maintenance Supervisor- Performs basic facility repairs
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules as directed
- Maintains air conditioning equipments (filters, belts and coils)
- Maintains pool, spa and plunges
- Monitors water chemistry
- Reports any problems with related equipment to lead
- Changes light bulbs and ceiling tiles
- Performs minor facility repairs
- Maintains preventative maintenance schedules on fitness and cardiovascular equipments as well as building equipments
- May be required to use personla vehicle for limited business purpose
- On call for emergencies
- Poosl certification (We will train and provide!)
Job Requirements
- Use of basic tools
- Elementary knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Must have own tools
- Self starter
- Must have own hand tools include amp/volt meter
- Some local travel required
- Committed to team success
- High school diploma or equivalent required or trade school certification/degree
