Maintenance Mechanic

Excellent career opportunity with an internationally known consumer goods company. Their personal care division, producing well known products such as Dove Personal Care products, Thermasilk and Axe, is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics.
Company is located in the City of Industry and positions are for 3rd shift 10pm-6am.
REQUIREMENTS


Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment(Bottle Unscramblers, Fillers, Cappers, Case Packers, Case Erectors, and Shrink Wrappers). -Troubleshooting and repairing equipment quickly and thoroughly to maintain operating efficiencies. -Preventative Maintenance Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge of and ability to perform basic mechanical functions such as: Changing Shafts and Bearings Aligning Motors and Gear Boxes Disassembling/Assembling Equipment Timing Machines Rebuilding Gear Boxes Using Shop Tools Adjusting Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems In addition qualified candidates will have the following skills: PC Skills Forklift Driving Experience Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written) Basic Math Skills Reasoning Ability Electrical Skills
