The individual in this position will report the status and projections of the saturator plant as required by the acting supervisor. The following are specific required duties for this position:Will operate all equipment and machinery in a safe and prudent manner.Will wear his or her assigned personal protective equipment at all times while working. Obtain directive from the maintenance manager as to the specific material, production speeds, quality control measures that are to be produced. Install/troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and pneumatic power/control systems. Responsible for conformance to company specifications and electrical codes. Make preventive and running repairs/corrections on all equipment.
Maintain open line of communication with supervisors in order to ensure compliance with set objectives. Routinely spot check Saturator Helper, Saturator Operator, Rewinder Operator, and take necessary steps to trouble shoot production and quality specifications. Immediately report any maintenance or equipment problems that are or will affect production and/or quality objectives. Immediately report any safety-related issues and/or accidents to supervisors. Report any existing anticipated material shortages or problems. Immediately report any vandalism or misuse of company property to supervisors. Report any employees that fail to fulfill their job descriptions and/or follow instructions. Report any employees that could benefit the company from training in a particular duty.Note: To be considered, your resume must meet specific position requirements and you must identify either the job title or job code for a specific open position. REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should have previous machine maintnenace experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical/mechanical experience. Prior experience and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and pneumatic power/control systems. Preventative maintenance experience required. Must have own hand tools. Must be able to work any shift and be available for overtime. Team oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills.
