Innovia Films, the leading manufacturer of cellophane in the world, have the following opportunities at our Tecumseh, KS manufacturing facility. General Maintenance Mechanic Position This position is primarily responsible for the following: z Performs necessary repairs, adjustments, changeovers and preventative maintenance on production equipment z Make emergency repairs and replacement of parts recommending to supervisor the plan of action on equipment, including replacement, modifications and rebuilding z Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify parts z On call on evenings, weekends and holidays z Performs good housekeeping duties Applicants should possess the following qualifications: z Requires a minimum of 3 years Experience in Industrial Related Maintenance z Successful applicants should possess experience in industrial pipefitting, welding GMAW, SMAW and GTAW. z Repair and installation of rotating equipment (pumps, mechanical seals, fans, bearings, gaskets, couplings, alignment, etc.) z Applicants should also possess knowledge and skills in basic mathematics, cutting and heating, mechanical safety, mechanical measuring and test equipment, mechanical prints, blue prints, fundamentals of layout, drilling and taping, basics of hoisting and rigging 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
