Our continued growth and success have created an outstanding opportunity for a Facilities Plant Operator on 2nd Shift.Responsibilities will include handling the daily operations of the physical boiler and chiller plant, inspecting, troubleshooting, & repairing necessary mechanical equipment, providing & maintaining necessary documentation for OSHA, EPA, fire and local building codes, creating & maintaining a database for PM for all mechanical equipment associated with the physical plant and Garmin's kitchen equipment, working with outside contractors in the maintenance of the physical plant, & providing electrical & plumbing functions necessary in the maintenance of the boiler and chiller room.
Qualified candidates will possess a High School diploma, Junior College, Technical School or equivalent & a minimum of five years of related experience, including five years of industrial/commercial HVAC experience and a minimum of 2 years minimum boiler maintenance experience. 120/208/230/ 460/480-volt, single and three-phase troubleshooting capability plus exceptional communication skills are a must. Technical certification is a plus.
