Laundry Attendant 1st Shift

For more information about the Company, visit www.gaylordentertainment.com.The primary responsibility of Laundry Attendants is to sort soiled table and room linens, iron, fold and package the linens for Gaylord Opryland and it's attractions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to start ironers according to standard procedures, report epuipment problems to appropriate supervisor, wax ironers daily, feed linens into flatwork ironer, feed pillowcases and towels through folding machines, hand fold specified linens, identify items for rewash, stain loads or wrinkled rework and maintain a safe and clean work environment.Continuously stands on concrete. Frequently walks, bends, reaches above the shoulders, pushes, pulls, requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination and color definition. Frequently carries
2-5 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Pushes and pulls heavy carts weighing over 200 lbs. Continuous mental and visual attention required for repetitive work.
