Journeyman-Plumber

Holy Cross Hospital, a 577-bed acute care hospital is seeking a motivated, professional Journeyman-Plumber to join our Engineering Department.

Job Summary:
-Perform routine preventative maintenance.

-Function as a journey mechanic and/or general repairman.

-Repair, maintain and install minor plumbing equipment including sanitary and storm drains and dietary grease pits.

-Work with all types of plumbing (i.e, copper, steel, plastic, etc.).

-Welds or understands welding enough to supervise contract welders working on plumbing projects.

-Perform minor maintenance service to the hospital electrical system.

-Perform minor routine maintenance service to the hospital HVAC system.

Minimum Requirements:
-High School Diploma

-Vocational School graduate preferred.

-Valid/current Journeyman Certificate of Competency

-At least 1 year of previous Journeyman-Plumbing experience preferred.
