Joint Operations Planning Specialist

Key Role: Research and obtain reference materials and organize materials into a physical and electronic reference library. Develop a file system of locally-generated plans and other materials to facilitate planning group training, exercises, and operations. Reformat locally generated briefings, plans, and other documents for consistency within established standards. Communicate effectively with others, both inside and outside of the military and civilian planning staff.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-1+ years of experience in a position requiring researching, organization, and coordination required


-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required


-Active Secret clearance required





Additional Qualifications:


-Experience with military planning or training preferred


-Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred


-Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


-HS diploma or GED


-Possession of excellent organizational skills





Clearance requirement:


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
