Janitorial Branch Manager

Summary:Performs management functions in addition to those tasks associated with personnel assignment, payroll maintenance, report writing, quality control, financial control, human relations, training (new and current personnel), as well as budget preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned. Job description subject to change.

- Oversee all personnel matters in accordance with The Budd Group policy.

- Interviewing and hiring new employees.

- Communicate with client contacts regularly and maintain good relationships with them.

- Enforce the chain of command between client and The Budd Group.

- Ensure time sheets are kept in accordance with policy and verify accuracy before submitting.

- Report all Worker’s Compensation injuries in the time frame established by policy and ensure accuracy and legibility of the incident report.

- Inspect janitorial equipment and storage areas for cleanliness.

- Prepare budget for the janitorial division, as well as monitor and control all supply budgets

- Strive to operate division in more economical manner, while improving service to the client

- Submit and ensure accuracy of billing sheets in the time frame established.

- Review Labor Variance Report each pay period and make corrections as necessary.

- Review Job Costs each month and advise when changes are required.

- Review AP Distribution for charges against janitorial P&L.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and / or Experience:

Minimum of a 2 year degree in related field or 5 years experience in the janitorial field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
