Conduct departure, arrival, damage, deep-clean and light-clean examination of property units in accordance with approved ResortQuest’s check-lists. Assure the property units meet ResortQuest’s standards (requiring cleaning skills) and at times recalling the original cleaning attendant.- Perform daily arrival inspections as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor, informing the front desk when arrival units become available. Perform daily departure inspections, informing the Housekeeping Supervisor when departure units become available. Check unoccupied units for proper thermostat settings, maintenance problems, lights turned off, and for any unauthorized use of rooms. Check carry-over units for thermostat settings, lights turned off, doors and windows locked.- Strip unit of garbage and linens. Check that all entry doors are closed and locked; check that laundry chutes are locked; inspect linen rooms and carts for cleanliness.- Record and report all maintenance deficiencies. Maintain vacuum and key log. Inspect condition of linens and verify linen count. Ensure all keys are returned at the end of the day. Report dirty linens that need to be picked up to the Supervisor.- Housekeeping duties required during off-season, and when business necessitates additional assistance in cleaning units.- Communicates with Coord Housekeeping or Supv Housekeeping to ensure timely and proper status of units. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred. Good communication skills required.
Professional cleaning and inspection license preferred.
