The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and direction for the Housekeeping Department and administering personnel, property, and fiscal resources of the Housekeeping Department. Performs a variety of housekeeping/custodial duties to ensure a clean, sanitary, pleasant environment essential for quality care of patients, visitors and staff.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Two years experience in a supervisory position.
* Three to five years housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Limited knowledge of various trade skills; electrical, mechanical, plumbing and grounds (snow and ice) work as needed. Limited familiarity with building maintenance techniques, equipment and operation of power plants and plumbing. Familiar with the use of telephone, intercom and radios, as well as, electrical hand power tools including drill motors, sanders, electric snakes, portable saws, grinders, wet and dry vacuums and buffers etc…
