Contributes to the effective operations of the Environmental Services department by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, treatment rooms, restrooms, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, offices, waiting areas, and other areas as assigned in accordance with standard policies and procedures. Uses cleaning devices, products, supplies and equipment to perform job. Removes trash and linen from the facility. Shampoos carpet per standard procedure.Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Supports the Environmental Services mission. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge may include the use of specialized equipment, Quality Control requirements, and preventive maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.Application Process:

REQUIREMENTS
Previous housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
Prior hard surface floor care experience is a plus, but not required.
Previous hospital experience desirable. This position is very physical in nature.
Able to push trash/linen carts, to handle low and high buffing machines, carpet extractors and sweepers.
Available to work weekends and holidays.
Flexible, team player.
Ability to read, write, speak, comprehend and follow written and oral directions in English.Starting from: $9.46/hr
