Health, Safety & Environmental Associate

An Akron chemical manufacturing plant has an immediate opening for a Health, Safety & Environmental Associate. This position will be responsible for providing technical support regarding HSE&S regulations and issues, will assist in administering plant programs and other environmental/safety related activities. This position requires 24/7 availability.
REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of one to five years experience, a bachelor’s degree - preferably in a science field. The ideal candidate will also have some familiarity with environmental, health and safety regulations. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment, and can communicate well with all levels of individuals inside and outside of the company. The candidate must have working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
