HVAC CONTROLS SUPPORT ENGINEER
Carrier Electronics, a division of Carrier Corporation, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of a broad range of electronic controls for use in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. CE is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Support Engineer for an opening in Farmington, CT.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science with 5+ years of relevant experience including success in controls product support and/or controls project management. Must have a technical background that includes TCP/IP Networking knowledge, in addition to building HVAC controls. Ideally the candidate would also have knowledge of Bacnet, Modbus, and Lon Works. This position will interact with Distributors and Service office personnel to describe product applications, troubleshoot hardware, network, and software issues, as well as train personnel. This is a fast-paced job requiring excellent problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task.
