Grand Hotel Housekeeping Manager

Responsible for the successful overall supervision of all Housekeeping functions in the Hotel, ensuring maximum productivity and superior guest service and satisfaction.
Ensures that guestrooms are cleaned to standard and well-stocked with amenities, by coordinating work responsibilities and inspecting rooms prior to occupancy.
Coordinates housekeeping work with other departments, as necessary.
Trains Housekeeping Associates in the proper execution of their responsibilities and monitors their work closely.
Routinely inspects work areas, identifying cleaning needs, potential safety hazards, problems or repair needs, and notifies the appropriate individuals for proper resolution.
Utilizes leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize productivity and satisfaction of Housekeeping Associates.
Reviews departmental guest complaints, ensuring corrective action is taken.
Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.
REQUIREMENTS
Effective communication and organizational skills. Minimum of one year prior industrial Housekeeping experience required, with progressive supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
