General Utility Worker

UNC Charlotte Recreational Facilities Management. (This position is event driven and individual may be required to work a variety of shifts. Individual must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays). Will perform a variety of building services throughout the Student Activity Center including the cleaning of: office areas, recreational activity rooms, floors, hallways, stairways, bathrooms, showers, locker rooms, storage rooms, food court, arena seating, hospitality rooms, and other public areas of the facility. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the timely, and accurate, set-up of hospitality, arena, and recreational spaces for athletic, intramural, special, and entertainment events. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. One year of experience in the performance of manual tasks, ability to follow verbal instructions, and physical strength sufficient to perform moderate to heavy manual tasks is required. A high school graduate with previous housekeeping and floor maintenance experience is preferred.
