General Manager 2 - Facilities / Engineering

Unit Description: The Director of the Facilitites - Maintenance department at a 160 bed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be repsonsible for the daily operations. Daily operations include preventative maintenance, work orders, financial resposibilities, construction - renovation project management, and staff development. The Ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, experience with a computerized maintenance system, HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, and be able to coordinate and oversee outside contractors.Position Summary:
Directs all maintenance operations of buildings and grounds at a single unit. Schedules maintenance and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. Supervises janitorial services and grounds maintenance such as landscaping, lawn and snow removal. May also supervise the security function and construction projects.. Overall responsibility for maintaining payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.Basic Education Requirement:
Bachelor's DegreeBasic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
