Field Facilities Technicians

El Pollo Loco is the nation's leading quick-service restaurant chain specializing in marinated, flame-broiled chicken. There are over 300 El Pollo Loco restaurants. We have immediate opportunities for qualified FIELD FACILITIES TECHNICIANS for the San Fernando/Los Angeles area. Position responsibilities include: Repair, maintain or replace food service equipment, appliances, heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, (includes exhaust fans, swamp coolers, ice machines, etc.) Perform general electrical and plumbing repairs. Prepare/distribute/request: repair/maintenance worksheets, purchase orders, timesheets, invoices, delivery receipts and all other relevant documentation. Maintain inventory of parts and equipment on company vehicle. Develop and scope preliminary lists of R&M and capital projects. Develop preferred vendor list and oversee outside vendors providing services to assigned restaurants. Generally routine business hours with occasional on-call emergency service required Experience/Education/Qualifications: 1 2 Years repair and maintenance experience in food service equipment and appliances. Good working knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing. EPA certified. Valid and current California Driver's license required.
