Facility Security Officer

Key Role: Provide onsite support for all security functions in accordance with NISPOM, DCIDs client security directives, and Booz Allen standard practices and procedures manuals. Provide hands-on support and management of all aspects of physical, technical, personnel, administrative, and COMSEC security associated with collateral activities in the facility. Serve as the liaison with US government counterparts and internal Booz Allen clients. Conduct security briefings and training and monitor classified information systems and controlled areas, investigating and reporting violations with cognizant government clients. Perform periodic self-inspections, develop security awareness programs, and conduct security briefings and debriefings. Direct employees in the submission and completion of security clearances using eQip, visit authorizations, and document control. 



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-4+ years of experience with collateral work with DoD clients


-1+ years of experience with management as a facility security officer


-Experience with NISPOM and applicable DCIDs


-Experience with Microsoft applications


-Experience with Computer Information Systems accreditation


-Experience with JPAS and eQip


-HS diploma


  


Clearance:


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
