Facility Planner (Senior Associate)

JOB DESCRIPTIONManage and administer various activities of the Facility Planning area; meets the business needs of the company and its various Business Units through the development and administration of safe, productive, and cost effective work environments.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for managing space planning activity.
Develop and manage furniture/finish standards as well as construction standards.
Manage development and maintenance of policy and procedure for the area.
Coordinate all architectural and construction trade disciplines with client representatives for complex and large projects.
Conduct meetings and lead presentations within areas of expertise. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Develop and manage large furniture/finish and construction budgetsParticipate in various planning committees.
Manage, direct and control activities of staff reporting to the position. Conduct performance and salary reviews. Interview and recommend applicants.
Business travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSInterior Design Degree with at least 5 years work experience in Corporate Facility Planning and an additional 3 years work experience in Interior Design or Corporate Facility Planning.
Ability to read blueprints and related documents and to evaluate schematic designs including color palettes and finishes.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSPosition may involve physical surveys of construction sites, including but not limited to: climbing ladders; testing visual and audible signals; exposure to chemicals used in common paints, lacquers, etc.DESIRED SKILLS:
