Facility Manager

Established in 1973, Interstate Cold Storage began refrigerated warehousing operations with a 1.7 million cubic foot facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. By early 1990, Interstate Cold Storage was one of the largest privately owned public cold storage warehousing companies in the United States. Nearly 22 million cubic feet of space is currently offered at our five Midwestern locations, ranking Interstate Cold Storage among the top 20 largest refrigerated warehouse companies in North America

We are currently seeking a facility manager for one of our Columbus, OH facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Oversee all daily operational and staffing needs.

Act as primary contact for customer operational issues.

Ensure work and cleaning schedules are maintained.

Responsible for managing safety programs to ensure workers safety and awareness.

Manage adherence to all company policies.

Submit monthly reports


BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Three years experience in distribution, operations, or a related
field (multiple location and sales skills a plus).

Three years supervisory experience.

Excellent computer skills (Windows OS, Word, Excel, etc…)
and the ability to learn proprietary software.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Ability to manage customer expectations.
