Facility Coordinator/Maintenance

Ryder is seeking a Facility Coordinator will identify, repair and maintain all aspects of a large warehouse facility. This includes but is not limited to: sequence rack repair (welding involved); dock lock maintenance and repair; material handling battery maintenance (maintain proper water levels and rotation); maintain and repair all safety and security issues related to the physical structure (i.e. lighting, fire extinguishers, alarm systems, overhead and pedestrian doorways, all ergonomic assists); maintain and repair pneumatic systems; keep all facility sidewalks free of ice and snow; coordinate work with outside vendors (for work that cannot be performed by in house personnel); develop a complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for the facility with the ability to maintain and report on the PM program; assist in billing to our customer for any out of scope work performance.

Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:
Certificate of competence in Arc and Mig welding is required. Must have strong mechanical skills. Must have a current Industrial Lift Truck License, Fork Truck, Genie Boom and Platform Lift are preferred. Strong written and verbal skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel program, and knowledge of Lean Concepts preferred. Must be able to work any shift.
