Facilities Tech II

Key Job Family Responsibilities
Maintain and service the following in owned and leased SF facilities: HVAC, Water Treatment, Electrical Distribution Systems, Building Control Systems, General office equipment and furniture
Perform office moves
Maintain maintenance database using approved SF software
Work in team environment
Work under minimal supervision/direction
Complete more complicated maintenance and repairs
Work on multiple assignments and assigned project work
Provide training to other Maintenance Technicians
Complete advanced training
Demonstrated and consistent use of job expertise
Proactive customer service by anticipating needs of customer
Assist in special projects
Interpret schematic diagrams, blue prints, logs, etc.
Inspect and interpret contractor's work relating to plans and specifications
Demonstrate/apply a knowledge of approved maintenance software
Maintain strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work as a team member or a team leader


Items of Note

Job may require overnight travel
Maintain flexibility in the areas of overtime, travel, shift changes, weekend duties, after-hour emergencies
Maintain an up to date knowledge of technical skills and industry standards
Physical mobility to climb and enter confined space/area may be required
May require frequent physical activity such as: regularly lifting 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 135 pounds, bending, stooping, or kneeling
Must be shift flexible
