Facilities Operations Lead
CH2M HILL is currently looking for a Facilities Operations Lead to join their Milwaukee, Wisconsin team. Areas of responsibility include: Cost management support for local overhead budgets, telephony support, building maintenance support, familiarity and adherence with the firm's security initiatives, fleet management, mail/freight, office supply management, assist with internal office relocations; front office management support as needed, assist with workload balancing for the group, and other administrative duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities may include participating on regional office relocations / reconfigurations, providing support to other business groups and handling tasks related to records management. Daily/weekly communications with local FO Area Lead and staff. May help train regional FO new hires in above mentioned areas - occasional travel may be required.
General Administrative Assistance:
oSupervises facilities operations staff performing functions including, but not limited to those detailed above.
oProvides communication to office staff regarding Facilities Operations issues.
oAssures that office is provided with equipment necessary for day-to-day operations.
oFinancially accountable for developing, monitoring, and meeting function budgets, including recovery centers; time and expense charging, and client ratio. Where necessary, institutes corrective action to achieve desired results; monitors time and expense charging and client ratio; may provide input to annual business planning and salary setting.
oOnsite lead for facilities management; onsite lead for all office relocations and remodels.
oMay provide other support as requested by Regional Facilities Operations Manager.
oMay serve as Facilities Operations functional lead.
oWorks with other regional Facilities Operations leads to build a collaborative team.
May also provide various types of assistance in other business services areas, as required.
oMay provide support to consulting staff as requested by Area Manager, including client work, as necessary.
job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED and 5 years experience in facilities operations in an office environment, including supervisory experience. o Complex, diverse and advanced administrative skills. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with limited direction. Must be proficient in MicroSoft applications.
o Physical activity may include some or all of the following: bending, stooping, walking, pushing, lifting (weights up to 50lbs), and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
