Facilities Mechanic

The Position

City of Hope is looking for full-time Facilities Mechanics for daytime, nighttime and weekend shifts to perform a wide variety of routine repair, maintenance, fabrication and installation on structures, buildings, machinery, equipment, furnishings and systems.

Experience

Experience in one or more engineering trades is desired, as this role provides services in the areas of Air Conditioning (HVAC or A/C), Autoclave, Carpentry, Electrical, Garage, Lock, Paint, Plumbing, Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance Routine & Rounds. Candidates need not be skilled in all areas, but simply have strong proficiency in one or more of these trades.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

- Four to six years of relevant experience in skilled trades and/or facilities

- Two years of post-high school education at a trade, business or professional school

- Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills

- Current CA driver's license and a good driving record are required.
