Facilities Manager (Direct Hire)

Our customer has teamed with Volt Services Group Professional Placement to recruit an exceptional Facilities Manager.
Our customer is an industry leader in engineered elastomers and aerospace clamping to the aircraft market. Through the development of aerospace clamping solutions, our customer has become an industry leader in elastomer technology.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of plant facilities, machinery and equipment, coordination of environmental regulatory compliance, and management of maintenance department.
The essential job functions are as follows: Develop and sustain building and equipment maintenance practices and systems. Schedule and document routine and preventative maintenance practices and systems. Schedule and document routine and preventative maintenance/repair activities. Supervise maintenance department personnel. Formulate policies and procedures to insure adherence to environmental regulatory requirements. Formulate policies and procedures to insure compliance with health and safety practices and regulations. Develop facilities budge and monitor monthly performance. Key contributor and active participant on safety committee.


Requirements:

B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 5-10 years experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and building systems. 5-10 years in administration of regulatory compliance programs. Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. Experience with maintenance management software. Knowledge environmental and health and safe regulations. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Experience with elastomers, plastics and metal forming preferred.
