Facilities Manager


Overview:For assigned Store(s), executes and oversees the general and preventive maintenance programs, housekeeping staff and contractors responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities, expense control and budgets, energy supply side and conservation programs.


Key Accountabilities:
Partners, communicates and coordinates with Store Management and maintenance staff to ensure all work is completed
Oversees installation, maintenance, operation and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems
Coordinates and oversees all work performed by subcontractors
Plans, implements and controls operating budgets
Ensures proper operation of all mechanical and electrical equipment
Ensures all preventive maintenance is scheduled and completed
Demonstrates and ensures customer service as #1 priority through delivery of efficient and professional services with minimal disruption to customers and the selling floor
Hires, trains, coaches, develops and retains staff. Fosters an environment that promotes personal development, strong teamwork and an appreciation of diversity in our workplace and customer base.
Ensures adherence to Company policies on loss prevention, security and safety.


Skills Summary:
Maintenance Mechanic experience/equivalent
Strong knowledge of all aspects of facilities management to include HVAC, maintenance and repair, energy management, electrical, plumbing, painting, locksmithing, waste management/recycling
Supervisory and/or leadership experience
Demonstrated organizational skills especially with multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment
Knowledge of all local, state and federal laws, regulations and codes
PC proficiency to include Word and Excel
Strong analysis skills
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
