Facilities/Maintenance Manager - Shopping Mall

West Los Angeles based property management firm has immediate opening for an on site Facilities/Maintenance Operations Manager located in the San Gabriel Valley. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mall including budgeting, expense control, tenant construction, HVAC and supervising housekeeping and maintenance staffs.

Other key duties will include maintenance and inspections of interior and exterior of shopping mall property, systems and equipment and administer all physical operations of the center, oversees general and preventative property maintenance, construction coordination, public safety and other contracted services.

This position reports directly to the General Manager who is looking for someone who is a 'roll up your sleeves' type of person who can function within an office environment as well as stepping in to physically assist maintenance staff with paint, drywall and other preventative maintenance.

Required Skills:
REQUIREMENTS
- Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience in facility/mainenance management. Two to three years in the property management industry and experience with shopping mall property management a big plus.
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
- Ability to read blueprints desired.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, supervise, train, and direct three or more employees with demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Flexible to be able to respond to any emergencies at the property.
