FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

FireKing Security Group is seeking the following individuals to service areas including, but not limited to: *Charlotte, NC *Chicago, ILFIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Locksmith License/Certification Required

Salary: DOE Summary: LOCKSMITH CERTIFICATION REQUIRED - Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service and technical service for all external FireKing Security Group customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
• Represents Company as the expert in the field. • Is the customer’s primary technical representative from Company. • Make technical visits and/or service calls on behalf of Company, to technical groups at various customers, potential customers, and other organizations. • Answer questions and recommend corrective services to address customer complaints. • Key information into computer to keep records of technical service requests and complaints. • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customers regarding status and product knowledge requests. • Process and troubleshoot customer’s technical issues according to established department policies and procedures. • Call customers when necessary to advise of information necessary to process requests and follow up. • Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc.) • Initiate file maintenance for corrections to computer’s customer file. • Fill out forms and determine changes for service requested. • Handle irate customers in a professional manner. • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns. • Work with sales representatives to meet and exceed customer expectations. • Communicates with people on all levels in a multitude of organizations. • ISO responsibilities as outlined in the Quality Management System.

Qualification/Requirements: • Travel, domestic and foreign may be required. • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent phone etiquette • Excellent verbal communication skills • Punctuality and dependability • Able to work with minimum supervision • Should be customer service driven with technical background • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Education/Training/Experience • High School Diploma or GED • Locksmith License/Certification Required • Experience with mechanical and electronic locks and tools • Previous field service experience preferred
