Electronic Security Technician Facilities Management is accepting applications for a FT IT Telecommunications Associate to fulfill the role of Electronic Security Technician. This position works in the Building Trades Group and supports electronic control systems providing Burglary Alarm, Fire Alarm, Closed Circuit Video Surveillance, Digital Video Recording, Electronic Access Control and Voice and Data Communications. The position involves installation, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of the listed systems. HS diploma or equiv and valid MD Driver's License required. The successful candidate will have 3 years related experience in electronic security systems. Requires skills and ability to troubleshoot communications circuits to include RS232, RS485, Ethernet and Fiber Optics. Specific experience with Lenel OnGuard Access Control is preferred. Overtime work is occasionally required. The position is considered essential and is required to report during inclement weather closings and other emergency situations. Competitive salary.
