Description:
Manages the housekeeping and laundry services of the hotel. To plan, organize, motivate and control the housekeeping functions necessary to provide our guests with top-quality, clean accommodations.

Job Duties:
Trains and motivates Housekeeping and Laundry personnel
Schedules personnel to provide timely service in the hotel
Conducts monthly inventories
Inspects property daily - compiles reports on status of rooms
Conducts employee performance evaluations
Performs guest room housekeeping duties, laundry functions, and cleans public areas as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires ability to select, train, evaluate, motivate and discipline as needed.
Operates the department within the budget.
Requires some travel.

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent
to the completion of 4 of years of high school. Two years of college preferred.

Requires minimum 1 year experience in supervising others.
Six months commercial housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred.

Requires ability to walk or stand 5 to 6 hours each
day while inspecting rooms. Requires ability to lift up to 25 - 35
pounds during the work day. Requires ability to perform all duties of the Housekeeper.
