To ensure the highest standard of cleanliness, safety, comfort and guest satisfaction are achieved within the public space and related areas. To implement the highest degree of professionalism and to coordinate
administrative policies and procedures.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Directly supervise approximately 40-50 stars within public space at the Hotel and other
Buildings, including the Wendell Building, Sales Admin Building and Greenland Building.
To supervise and oversee the 3rd shift public space third party contract that employs
approximately 40-50 people.
Ensure highest standard of sanitation, safety, and comfort for guests and STARS.
Conduct frequent inspections for guest satisfaction of all public space.
Coordinate and facilitate any maintenance deficiencies for repairs.
Monitor chemical usage for proper compliance with OSHA standards.
Assume leadership role for housekeeping public space in the absence of Executive Housekeeper
Of Public Space.
Administer all Hotel and departmental procedure and policies.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and energy procedures.
Ensure that all furnishings, hallways, vending areas, and storage rooms are well maintained.
To participate in interviewing, hiring, evaluations, training, coach, counsel and discipline of
STARS.
Assure accurate key control.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required
College Degree preferred
Five years experience in hotel housekeeping management or other operations position
