This position will also involve a significant amount of interaction with U.S. based agricultural suppliers and market experts.The successful candidate must demonstrate leadership skills and posses a demonstrated track record of industry performance. The primary job responsibilities will be to service existing export markets and develop new markets for DDG or dried distillers’ grains. The position will require an excellent working knowledge of grain and/or feed ingredients merchandising, markets, logistics and transportation issues.
The position provides the opportunity to work with both buyers and sellers of distillers’ grains, as well as opening up new market opportunities for the product. The enhanced capacity of new ethanol plants coming on line will provide both opportunities and challenges in the marketplace. The successful candidate will be able to develop relationships, manage and help to create new international market opportunities.Both international and domestic travel are a part of the position up to 50 percent of the time.Candidate must be bright, articulate, pleasant, have a personal drive and be able to quickly adapt to international marketing issues and trade issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:•Minimum of four year college degree required. Relavent fields including marketing, agriculture, sales, international business, agricultural business, ag economics etc.•Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience•Grain and/or ethanol industry experience helpful, but not required.
