Equipment Reliability Engineer (Fortune 500 company)

This position is part of our manufacturing equipment maintenance group.

* Responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and implementations as part of providing engineering support in the definition, design, and development of new products.
* Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, tests, analyzes, evaluates, verifies electrical/mechanical circuits devices and systems by using current tools, analysis techniques, engineering practices and technologies. e.g. risk analyses, FMECA's, Reliability Predictions, etc.
* Develops and implements evaluation plans and systems by creating reliability and safety plans and specifications.
* Documents electrical development analyses results and recommendations by writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
* Track, recommends electrical development effort designs and test methods changes by analyzing the creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.tradeoffs and recommending corrective or alternative actions for achieving required levels of product reliability.
* Solves, ensures engineering problems corrective measures, as design changes by analyzing the situations and recommending corrective or alternative actions. Analyzing the changes and their impact on reliability to ensure, they meet acceptable reliability standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Reliability training.
CMMS experience (MP2, Maximo, SAP).
6 sigma experience.
Strong experience with FMECA's
Prior supervisory experience.
