Director of Facilities Maintenance

Horizon Bay Senior Communities, a national and well respected senior housing management company is seeking a Director for Facilities Maintenance for the independent and assisted senior living community, The Cherry Hills Club in Sun City, CA near Temecula and Menefee.

Ideally we would like an experienced, hands-on person to lead and manage the maintenance department at the community.

Responsibilities include the preventative maintenance, upkeep and repair of the entire facility and all equipment.

You will be in charge of all HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and sanitation concerns.

You will also be responsible for training and mentoring the staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, repair, safety, customer service and state regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered:

+ A minimum of three years of experience managing a maintenance team for large building

+ Experience with safety practices and regulations

+ Hands on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry and sanitation

+ Experience with creating and implementing preventative maintenance program

+ Experience overseeing a housekeeping, security and/or transportation department(s) a plus

+ Excellent response time to orders

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Ability to be on call
