Dermatology Back Office Medical Assistant (Supervisor)

Assist with back office duties including rooming patients, taking patient history, providing patient education on medical and/or cosmetic protocols, setting up rooms, prescription refills, handling patient phone calls about medical and cosmetic advice, managing supplies and inventory, sterilizing instruments, assisting doctor and/or physician assistant with patient care including cosmetic procedures and office surgeries, and generally serving as providers' right hand.

Ideal candidate should enjoy working in a practice that specializes in skin care. The candidate should also be a self starter, reliable, detail oriented, possess a strong capability for multi-tasking, and have a friendly and professional manner. In addition, the candidate must be committed to providing excellent customer service to both cosmetic and medical patients, and to the staff as well as promoting an environment of good will for the practice. A minimum of 5 yrs of experience is required. Prior experience with medical and cosmetic skin care is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 5 years experience in a medical office. Dermatology or skin care experience is a plus.
