Corporate Controller

We are seeking a proactive Corporate Controller to oversee the daily accounting functions for our company and 9 subsidiaries. Reporting to our Chief Financial Operator, the incumbent will supervise a staff of five employees and have a complete understanding of the Company’s business units with particular focus on the processes and controls over all financial and accounting data.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, accounting and general ledger activities;
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports as needed;
• Work closely with our auditors during the annual year-end audits;
• Use Great Plains Dynamics accounting software to maintain general ledger integrity and security;
• Coordinate monthly financial closes;
• Prepare GAAP financial statements to be sent to lenders, bond holders, and trustees;
• Prepare monthly borrowing certificate for working capital line of credit;
• Provide analytical support for business sector management and their staffs.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 6-8 years of general accounting experience
• 3-4 years of successful supervisory experience
• Excellent PC accounting applications computer skills (Great Dynamics knowledge strongly preferred)
