Clinical Social Worker

Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, the Clinical Social Worker will work as part of a therapeutic team with substance abuse counselors and child development workers, to provide social services for program participants and their children. Provide assessment and individual program planning services. Provide linkage with specialized social service providers.
REQUIREMENTS
Possession of State of California License as a Clinical Social Worker or State of California License as a Marriage, Family and Child Counselor. Experience with homeless, drug addicted, and/or battered women preferred. If a recovering person, a minimum of 3 years clean and sober. If an ex-offender, off parole or probation for at least 3 years. No felony convictions in the past 3 years. Ability to work in a collaborative relationship with staff and program participants in the context of a therapeutic community.
