Cable Techs

American Systems Corporation currently has opens for Cable Technicians to work onsite supporting our clients in Mechanicsburg, PA.



Senior Technicians – Air Blown Fiber experience and certification. 5 Years plus in hands on cabling experience and supervision of installation crews. Extensive experience in terminating and testing fiber optic cables. Knowledge and experience in reading CAD drawings and understanding cable designs. Must have full DOD TS clearance. Possibility of day or evening shift for a period of 7 ˝ months.



Technicians - Air Blown Fiber experience and certification Preferred. 2 Years plus with hands on cabling experience to include setting up cable reels, pulling copper and fiber cables, terminating copper and fiber cables, and testing/labeling of copper and fiber cables. Must have some experience in terminating fiber optic cables. Must have full DOD TS clearance. Possibility of day or evening shift for a period of 7 ˝ months.



Installers - Air Blown Fiber experience and certification Preferred. Preferred hands on cabling experience to include setting up cable reels, pulling copper and fiber cables, terminating copper and fiber cables, and testing/labeling of copper and fiber cables. Preferred experience in terminating fiber optic cables. Must have full DOD TS clearance. Possibility of day or evening shift for a period of 7 ˝ months.
