CHEMICAL PRODUCTION ENGINEER

CHEMICAL, PETROCHEMICAL, REFINERY & PHARMACEUTICAL RECRUITERSThis Chemical Engineer participates in the implementation of comprehensive Process Control Systems, including SPC/SQC program across multiple facilities. Will lead and/or participate in activities associated with root cause investigation of out of control situations resulting from SPC/SQC systems. Must be able to lead Continuous Improvement events and troubleshoot equipment and Ensure best practice identification and transfer among various manufacturing facilities. In addition, working closely with operators to ensure quality, rates/yields, and specifications is mandatory, so must be capable of interfacing with various levels in the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Degreed Chemical Engineer is required and 3 plus years of Production/Operations engineering experience in chemical or closely related industries. A working knowledge of statistical techniques (SPC, SQC, DOE) and Root Cause Investigation experience are a plus. Knowledge of Continuous improvement techniques such as SPC, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing desired.NOTE: As a result of the increase in the business climate in the chemical and pharmaceutical sector, we always have varied opportunities similar to this one with a number of Fortune 500 clients.
