Associate Analyst, Market Research - CVS Realty Co.

Maintain competitor location data in SQL Server databases by updating and maintaining data from vendors and other sources. Day-to-day maintenance will be conducted through consultations with field personnel and research using the internet.Produces maps showing the location of CVS pharmacy customers using data from the pharmacy data warehouse. This requires the use of Mapinfo mapping software, Excel, and Access.Support the New Market Overview and Existing Market Overview process by producing maps and reports describing the general demographic and competitive characteristics of each market. The analyst will also provide a written overview of each market.Provide occasional support to other members of Market Research in the production of reports, maps and final presentation books used in management presentations.
REQUIREMENTS
High level of ability with Microsoft ExcelHigh level of ability with mapping softwareHigh level of ability with database software (Access, Paradox, or SQL Server)Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.Previous experience managing and completing multiple projects according to established deadlines.Demonstrates attention to detail.Ability to complete work under general supervision.Experience within retail site location analysis and gravity models is desired.Experience with statistical analysis is desiredBachelors Degree in Geography or equivalent experienceFamiliarity with CVS lines of business is desired.Experience collecting data from local government agencies is desired.Understanding of the Census and geographic levels used in the delivery of Census data is desired.
