Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Healthcare - Binghamton, NY

As an Assistant Manager of Housekeeping you will assist the Housekeeping Director with the planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing an hourly staff. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (Healthcare Management experience).


Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (Healthcare Management and/or requisite industry & management experience) as well as previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development. The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask is essential to success in this role. Working knowledge of rooms management systems is preferred. Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction are required. Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Healthcare experience required
