Insurance Area Manager Join one of the fastest growing insurance organizations in the nation!
Brooke is seeking an Area Manager for the Los Angeles, CA location to work with franchisees in the overall management of their franchise. This may include compliance, budgeting, marketing, supplier access, and adherence to procedures as outlined. Employee will also be very involved in building insurance company supplier relationships.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage and supervise any employees of Managed offices or inventoried offices that may be assigned to you from time to time
Responsible for performance evaluation of employees you supervise including recruitment, hiring, firing, and any corrective action that may need to take place
Responsible for all franchisee relationships in your defined area
Responsible for all supplier relationships in your defined area
Responsible for franchisees in your area with regards to statements, online discrepancy reconciliation, uncollecteds, and other procedural items relating to operations
Promote Brooke’s Corporate Culture throughout organization
Consult and provide advice to management with regards to operational activities of franchisees and compliance violations
Consult and provide advice to franchisees on marketing plan development, execution and tracking
Accountable for Statement readiness for agencies in your assigned area on a monthly basis
Identify problem franchisees in your assigned area and be proactive in resolving the issues
Monitor all franchisees uncollected accounts in your assigned area
Monitor and analyze all franchisees Franchise Agent Line of Credit Balances in and compare to uncollected total in your assigned area
Be proactive with franchisees in your assigned area with regard to cash flow analysis, budgeting, and adherence to the budgeting program
Coordinate with the processing center on activities that involve operations at both the processing center or franchisee level
Assist with transition accounts (sweep) and other items with prior owners for franchisees in your assigned area
Investigate for management when necessary situations that may arise from time to time involving potential procedural violations or regulatory violations
Identify procedural violations of franchisees and resolve
Coordinate training activities of all franchisees in your assigned area including the initial training as well as ongoing training
Assist with franchisee conventions
Responsible for transitioning and training new franchisees into the franchise system
Coordinate with National Marketing to identify who needs national marketing involvement
Work directly with non-compliant franchisees in your assigned area
You may be required to assist franchisee with overall management, budgeting, collections and sales activities
Reinforcement of procedural compliance may also be necessary
80% Travel (At least 3 Days per Week)

Prior agency experience (minimum 1 yr)

Job Requirements
Education / Experience / Licensure:
High School Graduate
College Degree – Not required
Minimum of 1 year insurance agency experience OR minimum of 5 years insurance industry marketing/sales experience
Must be licensed in or have the ability to become P&C licensed
