Account Executive Publishers Services (non sales)

Located in Des Moines, Iowa, CDS provides a wide range of outsourced solutions including consumer magazine subscription and business-to-business fulfillment, product fulfillment, lockbox processing, lettershop, direct marketing services and more! And we're seeking an experienced Account Executive (non sales) for our Publishers Services Division in Des Moines, IA!

Duties and Responsibilities for a CDS Account Executive include but are not limited to the following:

In general, supervises and manages communications, tasks and projects impacting administration of Publishers Services; Hires and develops account management staff. Monitors subscription fulfillment business procedures and subscription fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of Publisher Services assigned client contracts:
Monitors staff and/or account activities to support contract provisions.
Hires account management staff; conducts performance appraisals & provides guidance & development.
Assigns account activities to account management team.
Monitors client billing,.
Monitors, guides and directs budget activities within guidelines.
Travels when necessary; attends meetings as needed and/or interacts in social settings with clients.
Develops/maintains comprehensive knowledge of CDS systems, policies and operational capabilities.
Performs other duties as required or requested of an Account Executive.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business (or related field) or equivalent successful/documentable fulfillment work experience(account management strongly preferred) OR two years of college and 4 years industry related (fulfillment) work experience.
*Five (5) or more years of documentable successful Account Management experience in magazine subscription fulfillment, product fulfillment/distribution, remittance processing, printing, lettershop or related fulfillment industry REQUIRED.
Above average PC knowledge/skills.
*Excellent communications skills, interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and presentation skills required.
*Demonstrated leadership skills required.
*Experience advising/providing consultation to others on complex matters requiring application of financial, technical and management principles.
*Demonstrated leadership experience.
*Capable of travel, sometimes with little notice.*
